- The cabinet was inspired by the proportions of an old chest of drawers. The finished piece stands just 14 inches high. As well as being a feature piece the cabinet can function as a jewellery case.
- The body is made from Flamed Beech from Fife with fine Walnut stringing. All of the internal surfaces and the drawers are dyed blue.
- The drawers are completely lined in light blue suede.
- The bottom drawer is sufficiently deep to have a shelf and a small tray. The tray is made from Flamed Beech and is strong but very delicate at 2mm thick.
- The cabinet is finished with a very durable lacquer.
